Story
Hi everyone!
Troy is participating in this year's IRONMAN UK in Tenby and Meg is doing her first ever triathlon in Kent, both in September.
We are fundraising for Alzheimer's Research UK. It's a terrible disease that has happened within our family, anyone who knows people that have been affected by dementia knows just how heartbreaking it is to experience and it only ends in the worst possible way.
The Tenby Ironman that Troy is competing in is the hardest ironman in the UK. It's a 2.4 mile sea swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride and finished with a marathon run, all through the hills around Tenby. He is aiming to finish this event in under 12 hours.
The Kent triathlon that Meg is doing is a 1.5km lake swim, a 40km bike ride and finished with a 10km run. She is aiming to finish within 4 hours.
